Psychological components of future psychologist’s readiness for professional activity

Abstract

In modern conditions, the training of future psychologists requires consideration not only of the level of their knowledge but also of the formation of psychological readiness for future professional activity. It is the psychological components of readiness that form the foundation for effective interaction between the future specialist and others. This readiness encompasses motivational attitudes, the ability to self-regulate, reflexive awareness, the development of communication skills, and emotional stability. Researchers such as S. Maksymenko, V. Panok and N. Chepeleva emphasize that higher education institutions must not only ensure professional training but also create conditions for the development of internal motivation for professional improvement and the need for self-realization, which are the basis of the specialist’s psychological maturity.
